Equipment Merchants International (EMI) gained expertise in core room solutions while originally supplying cores to the automotive industry. We acquired valuable insight into the reliability and maintainability required to keep a core room operating efficiently. With this production knowledge, we began to provide the foundry industry with remanufactured equipment, backed by a new equipment warranty.
This valuable experience, combined with both internal design developments and strategic product line acquisitions, place EMI in a favorable position to furnish the appropriate new or remanufactured equipment for our customer's requirements.
Our core machines can include such features as continuous clamping of the corebox, quick change tooling capability, corebox inspection stations, tooling load cars and various methods of core removal. We can provide complete core cells including gas generators, core sand preparation systems, central amine systems, and core handling systems (including robotic applications). We have the ability to produce cores during shop testing to not only demonstrate the performance of the core machine, but to also verify the tooling. All equipment is fully supported with spare parts and technical service.
